Upcoming Bat comics: New Beware of Batman all-ages title, Joker collection

A couple highlights from DC Comics' October releases:

DC to launch 1966-themed Batman comic

This could be pretty fun: With the floodgates now open to merchandising based on the 1966 "Batman" TV series, DC is launching a comics series based on the show. Finally, a fun Batman again!

Batman '66 will be published digitally at first, with print editions to follow. Jeff Parker will write the series, with art from Jonathan Case. Covers will be by Mike Allred, a big fan, of the show.
